Scientists, healthcare professionals and industrials met for a two-days kickoff meeting in Barcelona, Spain to get started the Sound of Vision research project, recently funded with 3.9 Million Euro within the Horizon 2020 Programme of the European Commission. Sound of Vision aims at providing a wearable and affordable system that will help visually impaired people to navigate and perceive the environment.
